Tweet-able Quotes from Women's Session of #LDSconf

Like many of you, there have been a lot of things weighing down my heart, might, mind and strength. I've been over thinking too many decisions which I've taken to the Lord, yet for some reason I hadn't really known what to do. I'm so grateful for the inspired messages given at our General Women's Session {largest gathering of women and girls in the world} of #LDSconf. So inspired and just for me! Each one talking about love and service to others, instead of self. This makes me super pumped for for our General Conference this weekend! So many wonderful things taught.

[#LDSconf or General Conference to me, are like several spiritually nourishing TED talks based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, delivered by His chosen servants to guide me and my family through the storms of life. They are a worldwide gathering of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The General Women's Session is a special session addressing girls & women from 8 to 108 {or older!}.]

The most powerful statement I remember, was shared by Sis. Cheryl A. Esplin {First Counselor in the Primary General Presidency} she was the first speaker. Just love that she shared what Sis. Easton experienced in a Young Women's Girls Camp (for girls ages 12-18yrs) Devotional.

“Be someone who reaches out to know and serve others. Throw away the mirrors & look through the window.” Cheryl A. Esplin {Tweet This}

Powerful quote! See what I mean?

Here are the other quotes that I loved or which stood out to me. I was able to tweet or re-tweet some of these because sometimes I can't write them down as quickly as I'd like, so I love to use twitter to take advantage of other's abilities to type faster than me, and wanted to share them, in case anyone else would like the cliff-notes version of the #LDSconf General Women's Session. If you haven't watched these speakers, here's the link to watch all of them.

I've never had the best handwriting and was the only 8th grader who typed up their homework. I used my mom's old school MSDOS computer and would save it on huge floppy disks, LOL. How grateful I am to get to use a fancy Mac these days. I absolutely love designing anything to help make life easier. I've loved it since I designed my very first digital logo back in 1999 for my DJ biz. I dream of someday owning a print & copy shop, until then, you can download and use my free printables or have me personalize a digital invite from my Etsy shop for you.
